A little questionaire on magic :)
For all magicians out there.

1) What got you started into magic?
A simple card switch I saw on TV.
It really amazed me as a kid and
I want to bring that feeling once again to my audiences :)

2) How many hours do you practice a day?
I used to practice up to 8 hours daily :) but now,cannot already.

3) How long have you been performing?
hmmm..professionally perhaps, 3 months?
I was in magic for a year though.

4) What's the last trick you saw that fooled the crap out of you?
Daniel Madison's Breach.Go check it out!

5) What brand of playing cards do you like?
Tally Ho and Bicycle Masters.

6) What is your favourite effect?
hmm..nt really any fav ones.anything that amazes is a good effect :)

7) Any advice to people starting out?
Practice as much as you can and be natural while performing.
I'm still struggling with that :(

8) What kind of magic do you do?
Close-up. Mostly cards and a little of coins.

9) What is the best reactions you have gotten after doing an effect?
hmmm..someone immediately offered to pay me to teach the trick?

10) Who is your favourite performer to watch?
Aaron Fisher,Daniel Madison.

11) What do you think is wrong with today's magic industry?
After an effect,people will think of all kinds of ways to try and know how its done.
I feel like magic is an art to entertain, to amaze people just like watching a movie,
people wouldnt try and find out whats behind the scenes.
When I watch someone performing an effect,
What I want is to be amazed and not know how the trick is done.

12) Do you have your own effect created by you?
Yeah.A card sandwich routine :)

13) What are some basics you set while creating an effect?
Direct, Visual and Simple :)

14) Have you ever made a huge blunder while performing?
Duhh..its through such mistakes that I learn and improve.
Well,everyone makes mistakes yeah? :)

15) What is the most difficult sleight that you are still struggling with?
The infamous double lift.

16) What is your ambition in being a magician?
Participating in FISM and going to Theory11.
I know Im ambitious -.- but dream big right?

today have been a rather enjoyable day at work :)
tomorrow having a performance at someone's elses xmas party :)

today JK,a professional magician at the science centre recommended us,

like: Dan and Dave Buck.they're fantastic card flourish masters and magicians.
go check their vids someday..cool stuffs.

Today had cell group performance..magic show.
I'm very disappointed about it.
We practised so much..and in the end..
Im not satisfied at all.
anyway..i think street magicians cannot perform in front of big crowds.
that's probably why we failed here..
i know we need improvement..
hmmm..not to offend anyone,i feel that the cell clapped just to motivate/encourage us.
not cos the trick is stunning or whatsoever..
if we wasted the cell's time today.

so today woke up at 9 and ate breakfast.
some bread lah..yeah then went to westmall mac to study alone.

Well well well..
my blog had been dead for er i think few months.
Im reviving it now..yah.haha.
wah jus two weeks plus into sec4 and i bout to die..
well..everyone's lidat.haha.
hmm..my class well..haha.
ITS 4E4 man!!the well known one..
having three form teachers..HAHA.cool..
however teachers have been saying that weremuch better than before..
heh..hope its true.i also can see e change..haha.

lets start with :

1) CCA.
JUST NEXT MONTH,there's a campcraft competition..
PLUS im e captain.which means extra stress..
trainings for comp is EVERY MON WED FRI
freeeeaaaakkk...soooooo busy man.next tue promotion test SOMEMORE..
haiis..super busy every week.
the CCA itself is killing me!!
only until mid feb then free of trainings for comp..
cos competition is on 15february2008.
then ytd had staff sergeant promotion test..
plus station inspector interview..i think i jus flunked both
this saturday still got HRC:HIGH ROPES CHALLENGES..
its at pulau ubin..have to reach sch at like errr..6.30am?
was planning to stay overnite on fri lah..hmm.

2) SCHOOL WORK.
There is like an endless amount of homework everyday..
firstly there's ISPLs,then projects then plus this yr's work..
i had to do til late night.mus really buck up..hmm

LOL.cos sth happened today then i wna blog..

today after sch..we're supposed to take chem test.
lol..then the TA took such a long time to come..
then my class made a hell lot of noise outside the classroom..
as u all noe..its my class.
THE INFAMOUS 3E4.LOL
ok then mr quek came out of the staffroom stared at our direction..
but..we're still making a hell lot of noise..
then he came up to our class..and scolded the whole lot of us..lol
he then say:"ALL OF YOU ALL PACK UR THINGS N LINE UP OUTSIDE."
then when we're outside.
he asked:"IS THE CLASSROOM TOO COMFORTABLE FOR YOU?"

rehearsals after rehearsals..monday there's another one.

with ndp..im e parade 2 IC so..yeah impt post.
nid train voice drills..alot.
was injured too..my left wrist was like twisted cos i fell on tue..
then was very worried if still can perform or not..
i dnwna disappoint my band mates..btw im okay now! =)
this sunday is DT performance liao..at the youth park at 3 plus.
totally excited about it!!
woah..so fast.2 yrs for me and agnes have passed..haha
wasn't easy..many obstacles.but nvm!haha.
still rmb.sec 1 i confessed to her after one particular swimming lesson.

bus was cramped as usual..

hey everyone..im pretty tired.
today din went too well for me though..
while in school..got scolded by miss merlin lim.
din hand in work..hahaz
maths was okay.haha..
went for npcc inter unit quiz..
e quiz sucks la!wth..so damn hard.
okay nvm..i din study anyway.hahas
then after tat dismiss.as e whole sg npcc units went so it was bloody hard to get a bus!!!
we were dismissed at 4.30.
i waited in vain for buses for 1 and a half hours.wtf..damn pissed la.
every bus arrived and it jus left without even stoppiing cos thr were too many ppl on board..
and bout ten buses passed..
then i called my uncle ask him come fetch me.
damn..reached home at 6.35 when i can reach home at like 5.30.
im gna like lodge a complain or sth.
ask them put more bus services on tat road..

the second day of school..wad a nice day.sarcastic eh..
was pouring last nite so its cold this morning..
went school had uniform check.i din get caught for aniting..miracle eh?
e first three periods was all humanities..damn.
i learnt all bout humans today..first was SS then history followed by pure geog.
after recess assembly at e hall..was absolutely cramped up.hot n stuffy..okay nvm.
jus haf to live with it..no choice?
after school met maria talked all bout band stuffs performance on e 22nd july n so on..
yeah..pretty funny..haha.

I FORGOT HOW TO FIX THE DRUMS BACK?!!OMG..
tats e results for not playing for a month..haha.

Btw..i woke up at 7 man!7!!! on a holiday?!can u believe it?
okay nvm..cos i was gna meet agnes at downtown east which is pasir ris..
yeah..din expect e journey to be JUS an hour?!
i tot its like gna take forever or sth? lols..
okay..i reached e interchange n took a bus to downtown n met agnes.
yeah after tat went brkfast n went for a walk in e park nearby..after tat we went back interchange..
went city hall n shop shop shop shop shop..yeah
after tat went pastamania fer lunch n went hme after tat..
I FORGOT TO RETURN AGNES'S WATER BOTTLE TO HER!she left it in my bag..yeah.
alighted at clementi station took 189 home rested for a while n headed to my grandma's hse..
was think lan-ing with my cuz but he's out i think..so played soccer n i injured myself agn as usual..
i accientally kicked e rock.*was playing barefooted*
n it bled..quite alot.yeah..wasn't rlly affected by it or wad.haha
okay im tired but happy!

Dint update for quite some time..
busy with common test n cny..
actually not really busy with common test..cos i din really study..
Today practically suck...haiis
i failed hcl..
i failed sci..

my mum choose one..at first i chose black she say like rotten teeth..

Today started so early for me!!!
i woke up at 5 plus am..to go school
first time so early..
haha
then rehearse a while..and went for e first performance..
i play wrong..
so i damn sian diao n sad
so second performance i promise to play perfect..
and it did...im glad.
i can say we did a great job..cos we only practise twice..
we're the pros man..
haha lols..
after school went to eat mac with my dear band mates..
after eating had plans to go Pata's aka christopher house to play soccer..
hide aka sean dno how to go
so i followed him back his hs take his things n went pata aka christopher's hs together..
play not more than an hour...it started pouring!!!
so heavily...
we continued until we heard the first thunder roaring so loudly at us..
woah...i got a good shock by e loud bang..
haha.
then drenched went pata aka christopher hs to bathe...stayed at his hs til dinner time then went for dinner at a nearby coffeeshop...
then after that we splitted n went home..
ANYWAY...today's performance i can say its good...
many said so..haha
hopefully it is..and i hope maria can perform for us again...

didin't update ytd so now updating..
ytd stated off quite sloppishly...i was almost late for school as i woke up late..
school was plain boring..
after school went NP.
wear full u
so hot...
then did drills..
i forgot the hormat while marching...haha.blur..
then during sizing..
one of my squad mates said 'SHIT' because we were slow and have to move back..
the next moment..suresh sir ask if who said shit fiercely..
no one dared to own up..
he's really fierce..but its our fault..
after 5 seconds...still no one own up.
so we kena pump on the burning parade square under the blazing sun..
after a while since still no one willing to own up....
i own up lor..
to save the squad...
but too bad...suresh sir said its a girl and shouted in my face that i trying to act hero..
i wouldn't be angry at him...its part and parcel of training..
i respect him alot...he's a good snr and a good CI..
after training went for meeting about the march camp..
alot of changes have to be made..
after np..we went np classroom and changed and stayed ther a while for dno wad..
then left and came home....

woah..today started off like a normal day.Today's monday..which means history lessons!!!I love history...Mr Danny Cha rocks.I ran up to class the first thing in the morning to take my history textbook and workbook.If not,WeeLiat and I can't find any seats like last week cos weeliat wan go toilet then like sian diaoz.So today we rush up all the way to class found loads of seats,can choose somemore.But teacher say go computer lab.
